Summer Camp 2026: Discover the Art of Glass

A wonderful edition, now complete

From June 29 to July 10, 2026, Espace VERRE offered a day camp unique in Quebec, entirely devoted to introducing teens to glassworking techniques. Over two weeks, 10 teenagers aged 13 to 15 lived an immersive experience in a professional setting, guided by passionate glass artists.

A rich and creative program

The teens explored several glassworking techniques through hands-on workshops, including glassblowing, kiln-forming, flameworking, stained glass, casting, and glass painting. The camp also included cultural visits to the Forges de Montréal and the Fonderie Darling. The edition wrapped up with a mini vernissage, where the finished pieces were publicly presented to families.

A professional guidance team

Coordination and instruction were led by 3 certified glass artists, supported by a studio technician dedicated to technical assistance and by guest artists for specialized workshops. Every member of the team is a glass professional with solid teaching experience.

Thank you

A big thank you to the 10 teens who took part in this edition, to their families, and to the whole instructional team. Thanks as well to our partners, Caisse de la culture Desjardins and Fondation Faire la différence.
