Summer Camp 2026: Discover the Art of Glass
Registration is now open!
From June 29 to July 10, 2026, Espace VERRE is offering a unique day camp in Quebec, entirely dedicated to introducing young people to glassmaking techniques. Over the course of two weeks, twelve teenagers aged 13 to 15 will enjoy an immersive experience in a professional setting, guided by passionate glass artists.
The camp is conducted in French, creating an immersive experience in both glass art and language.
A Rich and Creative Program
- Hands-on workshops: glassblowing, kilnforming, flameworking, stained glass, mold-making, glass painting
- Cultural outings: Forges de Montréal, Fondation Phi, Fonderie Darling
- Mini exhibition: public presentation of the artworks created, with families in attendance
A Professional Team of Instructors
- Coordination and facilitation: 3 graduates of Espace VERRE
- Studio technician: 1 person dedicated to technical support
- Guest artists for specialized workshops
All team members are professional glassmakers with solid teaching experience.
Practical Information
- Dates: June 29 to July 10, 2026
- Open to teenagers aged 13 to 15 at the time of the camp
- Number of participants: 12
- Registration fee for the 2‑week program: $500
- All materials and tools are included in the fee
Schedule
- Activities run Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Morning drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m., and the studio closes at 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, July 10: Exhibition opening starting at 3:30 p.m.
- Participants must bring their own lunch, snacks, and a reusable water bottle.

- If the camp is already full when we receive your registration form, we will offer to place your teen on the waiting list (12 spots).
- If the camp becomes full upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a full refund as soon as possible.
