Opening reception with the artists, Thursday, April 10 at 6 p.m.

From April 10 to May 23, 2025, Espace VERRE presents PARCOURS, an exhibition featuring the works of Sécrétion-Féline, a duo of artists composed of Diane Champagnat-Becker and Nicolas Forlini. With PARCOURS, the artists transform the gallery into an immersive experimental laboratory, where blown glass artworks transcend their intrinsic beauty to become part of a spatial installation that interacts directly with the public.

By designing a deliberately uncomfortable path, Sécrétion-Féline disrupts the way visitors move through the space: each passage becomes a challenge, each detour an opportunity for reflection. The installations confront spectators with dead ends, fragile balances, and unpredictable rhythms.

Described as glass still lifes, the works combine textiles and compositions with impractical forms, thus highlighting the absurd beauty of objects freed from any functional purpose. This disorienting scenography invites us to rethink the foundations of modern societies: what obstacles await those who do not conform to imposed expectations or codes?

The Sécrétion-Féline duo takes a subversive artistic approach, appropriating blown glass to expose the absurdities of contemporary social, political, and economic structures. In their work, the object serves as a pretext to question a system fueled by inequality, consumerism, and illusions. Their signature color, orange, plays a key role: reminiscent of danger zones and construction sites in public spaces, this orange signals a zone of turbulence, where art questions and disrupts to better build a gentler and more humane future.

Diane Champagnat-Becker and Nicolas Forlini met while studying at Espace VERRE. Graduating in 2018 and 2019 respectively, they officially established their artistic partnership in 2020 under the name Fusion F for their artisanal production and Sécrétion-Féline for their artworks and installations. In 2023, they co-founded the collective ORANGE². PARCOURS is their first solo exhibition.
