A Not to Miss Continuing Exhibition

Mutations, Crafts in Québec since 1930

The first part, of the two part Mutations exhibition, continues at the Musée des  Maîtres et Artisans du Québec in Montréal until January 31, 2016, while the second part starts at the Musée de l’Amérique Francophone in Québec on November 24, 2015. In addition to offering a retrospective point of view of the last 85 years of craft practices in Québec, the exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with texts by glass artist and art historian Bruno Andrus.

Resuming their Gallery Rounds in France

Anne Donzé and Vincent Chagnon are resuming their gallery rounds in France, following their visit to Québec. Indeed, they are presenting their installation build (dingue) at the 6th edition of the International Glass Biennale in Strasbourg, until November 29, 2015. Also, they are part of the De la terre dont nous faisons le verre group exhibition, from November 14, 2015 to January 31, 2016, at La Compagnie des Verriers in Vannes-le-Châtel, France. Last but not least, their installation Square is currently on display at Espace VERRE.

Create Your Own Holiday Memory…

Espace VERRE’s unique holiday tradition is back for an 8th edition! Whether it is with your little ones, friends or coworkers, all are welcome to choose their colours, model, and assist a glassblower in creating their very own ornament.

Cost: $30 + taxes per ornament

Schedule:
November 20, 21, 22 and 29
December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20

Fridays: from 4 pm to 10 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: from 10 am to 4:30 pm

Please note that the ornaments will be ready for pick-up on the Tuesday following the activity, allowing an annealing process time.
